Is to capture your birth experience, with all the emotions and moments to hold onto forever. These beautiful moments are so quickly fleeting and only happen once. Lets document the blood, sweat, tears, love, joy and everything in between.
My goal as your doula
As your doula I want to help you feel as confident and supported in your birth as possible. Help your birth space to be what you imagined and do my best to get you the unmedicated birth you strive for.
How this works...
Getting to know you
As your Photographer (and doula) I want to get to know you. Birth is very important and intimate. I want you to be comfortable with me there! I sit down with every one of my birth clients to get to know each other and what you want. I want to know everything you'll tell me. Your concerns, your questions, your expectations, all about you and everything in between. With photography we will have 1 consultation. If you are also wanting doula support we will have 1 consultation and 2 prenatal visits.
When do I arrive and how long do I stay?
On call: I go on call at 38 weeks until baby is born, meaning I have all my gear packed up and ready, and I will be in town.
When I come: For photography I want to be at your birth when you're in active labor. Keep me updated at every step of the way though! I want to know whats going on and I'm excited to hear from you.
For doula support I come when you need me! Some mamas need me right when contractions start to be painful, some don't need me until much later. I support you however long of your labor you need me to wether thats 1 hour or 40 hours!
How long I stay: I stay throughout the entire labor and 2 hours postpartum
When do you get your photos?
24 hours after your birth I will deliver a couple sneak peeks. Your full gallery (100+ photos) will be delivered within 6 weeks after birth.
Birth is one of the biggest moments in life.
Supporting you in such an amazing time and capturing these moments so you can hold onto them forever is my biggest passion in life.
